Navgrah Shani Mandir Ujjain

This temple is located in the Dedhiya region, about 8 km from Ujjain, at the meeting point of three rivers—Kshipra, Gandaki, and Saraswati. It is dedicated to the nine planets: Surya, Chandra, Mangal, Budh, Guru, Shukra, Rahu, Ketu, and Shani.

Shani is one of the most powerful planets and is known as the god of justice. According to Hindu scriptures, Shani is the greatest judge and teacher. He rewards good deeds with prosperity and punishes those who do wrong. Because of this, people worship Shani with great devotion and try to stay in his favor.

Saturday is considered the best day to visit this temple and seek blessings from Lord Shani.
